Third Term

Tuesday, 14th April
- Ready for CAE. Unit 11; page 140: ex. 1 and 2 (speaking and listening) + page 141: vocabulary on "sight".
- Pages 144-145 (nouns formed with prepositions): powerpoint including the anwers to ex. 2 and extra vocabulary.
- Homework: Language focus on page 144 (ex. 1 and 2) + 2 open cloze tasks on photocopy given.
Thursday, 16th April
- Correction of Open Cloze tasks
- Ready for CAE; correction of Language focus on page 144 + listening on page 145 + vocabulary on read and write on page 146
- Revision of words formed with prepositions
- Extra listening on photocopy given (multiple choice)
Tuesday, 21st April
- Ready for CAE. Unit 12; page 157: Language focus on conjunctions and linking adverbials (answers included in powerpoint presentation shown in class)
- Extra listening practice: Complementary therapist (see "Our X-Files")
